This privacy & cookie statement explains which personal data Wouters Transport b.v.,  collects and for which purposes these personal data are used. In addition, this privacy & cookie statement points out the risks, rules, safeguards and rights in relation to the processing of personal data and how the rights in relation to such processing can be exercised.

What personal data does Wouters Transportcollect for what purposes?

Wouters Transport collects personal information so that we can identify you. Personal data are particulars that can be traced back to a person involved, you as a visitor to the website and/or customer in this case. We collect and process various personal data, such as your gender, name, function, email address, telephone number, delivery and/or billing address, camera images at the entrance of our building, information about your activities on this website and your IP address. Wouters Transport will never ask you for any special personal data, such as religious belief, political opinions, race, health or otherwise. The purpose of this data processing is to supply the products and services you have requested, to administer, to communicate with you, to advertise, to improve our websites, products and services, to guarantee security or other legitimate commercial purposes. 

Consent

Wouters Transport will only process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. If the processing of personal data is based on explicit consent, you always have the right to withdraw your permission. Withdrawal of your consent does not make previous processing based on consent unlawful, but results in the processing being terminated and means that your data (after expiry of any retention period) must be destroyed, unless another legal basis exists for processing your data.

Processing of personal data 

The legal basis for these processing operations is the performance of an agreement, your given consent (for example, to receive the newsletter and/or advertising messages) or a justified business interest. The processing of personal data does not take place solely on the basis of automated processing. If you do not provide this information, you will not be able to use our services. 

Period of retention of personal data 

Wouters Transport will not store the personal data for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which they were collected. The period of time during which personal data are stored will be determined according to the following criteria: 

• Administrative data (including personal data): seven years from the time of recording.
• Camera images at the entrance of our building: two weeks after admission.
• Other data (including personal data): seven years from the time of recording. If Wouters Transport has reason to believe that it may be confronted with a possible claim for liability, the retention period will be twenty years. This period is based on the longest period of limitation under the law according to Section 3:306 Dutch Civil Code.

The recipients of personal data

Wouters Transport will not disclose the personal information to third parties other than our processors without your consent, a third country or an international organization, unless Wouters Transport is required to do so by law or court order.

Rights of data subjects 

On the basis of the General Data Protection Regulation, you have a number of rights. You have the right to ask us for access to your personal data. In addition, you may request us to correct, supplement, delete or block your personal data. In addition, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. Finally, you can request the transfer of your personal data if the processing is based at consent and if the processing is carried out by automated processes. We will process your request no later than four weeks after you have submitted it. Furthermore, if you have reason to do so, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

We use cookies on this website. A cookie is a small file that is sent along with the pages of this website and is stored by your browser on your device with which you use our website. The information stored in the cookie can be returned to our servers during a subsequent visit. In this statement, we explain what this means for you.

Functional cookies

Our website places session cookies, which are included as standard in the program language of our website. These session cookies ensure an easy and undisturbed use of the website. Session cookies are automatically deleted from your device when you close your browser. 

Google Analytics

Through our website, a cookie is placed by the American company Google, as part of the "Google Analytics" service. We use this service to keep track of and receive reports on how visitors use the website. We have concluded a processing agreement with Google and have thereby prohibited Google from using the analytics information obtained for other Google services. We have also disabled the forwarding of IP addresses to Google via Google Analytics. 

Social media buttons

Our website contains buttons to promote web pages and share them on social networks, especially Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google+ and Instagram. These buttons place cookies.

These buttons work by means of pieces of code that originate from these social networks themselves. We have no influence these buttons. Please read the privacy & cookie statement and other (general) terms and conditions of these networks (which may change regularly) to read what they do with the (personal) data they obtain through these cookies.

Retargeting cookies

With your permission, we use Google Adwords and Facebook retargeting cookies, which allow us to display advertisements on third party sites that are related to your previous visits to our website.

Removal

If you do not want websites to place cookies at all, you can change your browser settings so that you receive a warning before cookies are placed. You can also modify your browser to reject all or only third party cookies. Also, you can delete cookies that have already been placed. Please note that you will need to adjust the settings separately for each browser and computer you use.

Security of personal data 

When using personal data, Wouters Transport respects the rules of the General Data Protection Regulation. Wouters Transport uses protection measures to ensure that the data is kept secret. In doing so, Wouters Transport will in any case apply the following measures:

1. a. A secure connection is used on the page where your personal data is provided.
2. b. A secure connection is used for the sending of personal data by email. 
3. c. We take technical and organisational measures to prevent the loss of data or unlawful processing (such as attacks). We therefore guarantee an appropriate level of security and have our site tested periodically.
4. d. All systems in which (sensitive) personal data is processed are equipped with anti-virus software and the latest security-related patches of all other important software, as issued by the suppliers of this software. 

Wouters Transport cannot guarantee that the administrators of the websites to which the websites it manages contain links, comply with the rules of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Wouters Transport reserves the right to modify this privacy & cookie statement at any time and for any reason.
